Dietitian Corner

Gayle is a registered and licensed dietitian with a Master’s Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Utah State University. She received her undergraduate degree from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, California. Her Dietetic Internship is from University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland, Oregon.

Gayle has over 25 years of service with Orlando Health working as a Clinical Dietitian in all areas of the lifespan including Neonatal Pediatrics, Critical Care Nutrition Support, Outpatient Services and Corporate Wellness programs.

She has worked as a Corporate Clinical Nutrition Manager overseeing the development of several programs including outpatient nutrition services in oncology, bariatric and pediatrics as well as serving as a preceptor to Dietetic Interns from Florida internship programs. One of Gayle’s most rewarding accomplishments was developing the Neonatal Dietitian position at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Gayle is currently serving as the President of the Florida Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her Goal this year is Synergy, working together to integrate Medical Nutrition Therapy into our Florida Healthcare systems.  Gayle is currently the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence Dietitian at Orlando Health.
